RICE BRAN OIL

Rice Bran is main commercial by- product of Rice grain milling, which is used in extracting Rice Bran Oil. It is relatively a new entrant in the category of cooking oils and is considered to be healthiest.

Rice bran oil features Monounsaturated Fatty Acids (MUFA),Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids (PUFA) and Saturated Fatty Acids (SFA) in almost equal ratio, which is nearest to WHO recommendation .

Oryzanol in the oil helps to increase the HDL (good) cholesterol levels and significantly lower the LDL (bad) cholesterol. It regulates blood pressure, blood sugar level and reduce the risk of inflammation and metabolic disorder.

USE OF RICE
BRAN OIL

  • Rice Bran Oil has a mild flavour and a neutral taste which can be used sautéing, grilling, marinades and is great in salad dressings. It's light and quite versatile.
  • Rice Bran Oil has a high smoke point , which makes it perfect for stir frying or deep frying. It can maintain its nutritive quality even at high temperatures.
  • Rice Bran Oil is less viscous which means that it does not stick to food.
  • Food cooked in Rice Bran Oil has a longer shell life, making it less prone to oxidation and rancidity.
